WANTED - PUPPETS!

Have you got any old puppets laying around
that you just dont want anymore?
Extreme Clowning has started doing puppet workshops
with the disabled, visually impaired and adults with learning dissabillities
and needs your help

We are looking for any types of puppets
that we can use during our sessions

 it can be any condition
we will mend, and look after them
and give them a second life

They will be used with various groups
to help them learn about the different styles of puppets
and how each one can be used differently

Then in time we hope to put on our own shows
giving these people a chance to discover something fun and creative

Jimmy who you can see in these photos is
Deafblind (both Deaf AND blind)
and he loves puppets

If you can help in anyway big or small
please drop me an email at

Jimmys Disney Holiday lost video footage - FOUND

Lost Video footage

In 2003
Jimmy was given some funding to go
on holiday to Disneyland Paris

Jimmy did not want to go
as his friend had told him it was rubbish

Jimmy said he would rather pay himself
and go to the Isle of Wight

In this video footage
you will see a very young Jimmy
when he first started to come out of his shell
this was my second holiday with him

and this was a complete learning adventure
from start to finish

i appollogise for the dodgy effects!
but i am so glad that this footage has been found and
is now after 10 years finally watchable again

thank you
Anthony Carder

Extreme Clowning - NEWS - calling all magicians, childrens entertainers, jugglers.

Extreme Clowning

Extreme Clowning started in 2003
the work we have done in the last 10 years has been small
but needed
There is no one else that offers what we offer.
Due to demand we are in the process of expansion.
And we are becoming a C.I.C (Community Interest Company)

There is a huge amount of people in Peterborough who are disabled , visually impaired and have learning dissabilities.
We would like to offer them something different, something fun, something that dose not involve stuffing envelopes or botcha!
Extreme Clowning aims to deliver something different
that is previously not available elsewhere
As far as we know this will be the first group of its kind offering these subjects especially aimed at disabled.

we have a venue in mind and already people have shown interest.
Our activities will focus on the alternate arts - such as

balloon modelling
magic
puppeteering
prop building
mime
clowning
make up etc

Jimmy was born Deaf and went blind at the age of 18
he discovered magic through Extreme Clowning

we are currently looking for sponsors of equipment,
In the past we have been sponsored by the Berglas foundation, Derren Brown, Uri Geller, Kaymar Magic, and Beard Juggling

Anyone can help by donating props which we can use in our sessions.
I am pleased to announce that Beard Juggling are already on board and are donating some juggling equipment

we will need
magic
props
puppets
anything that you can spare

these items do not have to be new
a lot of the magic will be adapted to be used with the visually impaired
so condition is not a major requirement

if you can help in anyway please message me at Extremeclowning@hotmail.co.uk
and we will add you on our website as a sponsor

please spread the word
and think of us if you have any unwanted magic / props etc
that we could use and teach a new generation of performers

Collectormania 19

This will be Jimmys first collectormania
He has very few memories from when he could see
but one of them memories is watching the Hulk
so we are going to collectormania to hopefully meet Lou

 Happy hands
off to see the hulk

 Jimmy with his hulk doll.
This was when we got turned away, as we didnt have a ticket!
very hard to explain to Jimmy

we then caught him coming back from lunch

and despite them saying no at first, they allowed Jimmy to have a photo!
Mission complete

Jimmy has no idea about friday the 13th!
But lately i have been trying to explain to him that being big dosent always mean fat!
so i really wanted him to meet
Ken Kirzinger

This really helped, he was a lovely guy and had a lot of time for us

especially Lorrainne pettman
who we have awarded a C.A.S.T.T members award to
for her help

Some other discoveries we made along the way!

FREDDY!

CAT WOMAN

K9

 SOME SORT OF VAMPIRE!
scared the hell out of me!

The droids we were looking for.

 Jimmy wasnt keen on these!
apart from there hair he liked - said it was like Bob Marleys!

The lady behind was quite disapointed she didn't get groped! lol

Jimmy with Bob Wilson
Ive known bob for a while as he runs a charity organization that creates special memories for people who are terminally ill, and they helped one of Jimmy's old neighbors.
So it was nice to catch up with him

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ALLOWED US TO TOUCH THERE PROPS AND COSTUMES TODAY, JIMMY HAS LEARN'T SO MUCH!

he has finally met a chewy, Darth maul, r2d2 and a slave Leah! he has also learn't that he is not keen on predator, and that the lady who did not let him meet the hulk was stupid!
