We had an absolutely fantastic evening and Jimmy really got so much from this show, he sat there with his hand on his chest feeling the vibrations coming up through his boy and he was drumming on his leg -IN TIME WITH BEAT!

Thank you all so so much for everything

the show was totally amazing and Jimmy loved the drums afterwards-

this helps so much and gives him a real idea on what i have been telling him about

he was amazed and the big drum and how big it was

and he wants a fan drum for christmas!

JJ and Jimmy - the book ?

It has been suggested that i write a book about mine and jimmy's adventures - this is as idea that has been knocking around for a few years now, so before i start writing and gathering information i would just to ask you all what you think of the idea?

 Right i am going in the bath - can any of you think of things that myself and jimmy have done together, or places we have been? i am starting to compile a list for the book! and i don't want to miss anything out - we started our friendship in 2003 so there is a good few years to cover

 I had a good chat today and jimmy is all excited about the idea of a book!

we spoke for ages about the things that we have done and it was great for us to chat and look back at  everything - it is also a great way for jimmy to learn about himself.
we have started to gather information, trips, events etc that we have done together.
Now what we would like to know from you all is what you would like to know, especially about jimmy and being deafblind, don't be scared to ask as it is not a subject a lot of people know about, if you feel your question is silly then inbox me
a huge part of this book will be about creating awareness - so have a think and post your question

And then in 2012 we spot this....
so i rang lisa and she bought us 2 tickets
and off to Leicester we went

Jimmy has decided that for his next fundraising event for Goldhay arts

he wants to sit in a bath full of baked beans!

Goldhay Arts is an arts based daycare charity for adults with learning disabilities. Our members get the chance to train and build on their artistic skills and interests in weekly sessions of music, drama, dance and visual arts (drawing and painting). 

Last time Jimmy swam 50 lengths and this time he fancies something a bit more daring

i will keep you all up to date with any news on the matter

meanwhile we need to find a bath!

15th Febuary -Star Wars Episode 1 3D with Enzo

Enzo is 56

and has NEVER seen star wars!

so on Wednesday 15th of February  he will be introduced to the world of the dark side...

we started the day with tea and toast

 

 Then a brisk walk to the cinema

Enzo shouted out everytime he saw warwick Davis

And the guy from casualty

Enzo loved the film (despite not really understanding the story)
but i told him they get better as they go along.
He cannot wait for the next one now - so hurry up Mr Lucas
