Project Panto - 2012/2013

Extreme Clowning's Christmas project for 2012 / 2013

Last year 150 emails were sent out to various Pantomime companies all over the UK kindly asking for donations of pairs of tickets for pantomimes that will be playing over the Christmas period, Extreme Clowning then distributed these tickets to disabled people all over the UK.

Hopefully this will encourage them to get out and live life and maybe experience some Christmas cheer and create some smiles and memories.

The response was fantastic -

The Roses invites you to its 2012 traditional family pantomime Aladdin...

This fantastical pantomime transports you from the streets of Tewkesbury to a faraway land where street urchin Aladdin is tricked into an enchanted cave in search of a magic lamp. Out pops an all powerful genie – and in a puff of smoke, Aladdin’s life is changed forever. But not if the wicked Abanazar has his way…

Expect comic mayhem as Aladdin, Wishee Washee and their furry black and white side kick, Tyson, cause panda-monium as they battle to keep hold of the lamp and win the beautiful Princess Jasmine.
Complete with sparkling sets to transfix your imagination, lavish costumes fit for a princess, a cascade of pyrotechnics that sparkle and flash, and a Christmas cracker full of jokes that you’ll tell well into the new year, this traditional pantomime is a magical carpet ride of an adventure – and the best panto you could ever wish for!
